Local businesses are the heart and soul of our communities. They also create big economic impacts, by creating jobs, circulating profits, buying local products/services and supporting local causes.

B.C. Buy Local Week is November 28-December 4th, 2022. LOCO and the Sunshine Coast Business Recovery Centre are planning a workshop to help businesses understand their local impact and how to make the most of Buy Local Week. The workshop is open to businesses across B.C.

The SCBRC has partnered with LOCO BC to participate in ‘BC Buy Local Week’, November 28-December 4, with a dedicated Sunshine Coast campaign this holiday season to promote and support our local businesses.

BC Buy Local is an annual campaign that celebrates local business to promote the contributions that BC businesses make to our economy and our communities. The goal of the BC Buy Local Campaign is to provide a digital platform to highlight BC-based businesses and products.

Join us from 10-11am on Tuesday, November to help businesses understand their local impact and how to engage in and make the most of this exciting campaign.

This 1-hour workshop will include both content and connection:

  • The impact of your local business
  • Tools to communicate local attributes to consumers who care
  • An overview of the #BCBuyLocal campaign
  • Making the most of buy local marketing
